This model is about main three types of cooling towers. User has the ability to calculate the following items:
1-Air and water operating conditions (T, P, V, h).
2-Humidity of the air at inlet and outlet.
3-The approach.
4-Fan diameter, m.
5-Heat loss by water, kJ/h.
6-Air flow rate, m3/h.
7-Heat gained by air, kJ/h.
8-Make-up water, kg/h.
9-Fan power, kW.
10-Design aspects.
User can slect between the following:
1-Counter flow mech cooling towers (2 models).
2-Cross flow mech cooling towers (8 models).
3-Natural draft cooling tower.
**MatLab-SimuLink (64bit R2012a up to R2018a) should be used to run the model.
